Teacher Appreciation

It’s Teacher Appreciation week at our school. The Parent Teacher Association planned a variety of fun breakfast, lunch and desserts. I was part of several but this was by far the silliest and most fun.  Writing teacher-related inspirational messages on fruit. I found this idea in Pintrest and then used my own quotes that I had from another Teacher Appreciation project.

Here are the quotes and phrases I wrote on the fruit:

  • It takes a big heart to shape little minds.
  • Teachers plant the seeds of knowledge that last a lifetime.
  • Without teachers, life would have no class.
  • To the world, you may be just a teacher, but to your students, you’re the world.
  • Keep calm and thank a teacher.
  • A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart.
  • To teach is to touch a life forever.
  • We’re bananas over our teachers!
  • A teacher changes the world one student at a time.
  • They may forget what you said but they will never forget how you made them feel.
  • You make a difference.
  • Teachers make other professions possible.
  • Beautiful minds inspire others.
  • Teacher-one who inspires, guides, enlightens
  • The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery.
  • Real heroes don’t wear capes, they teach.
  • In case no one told you today, you are a GREAT teacher!
  • The influence of a good teacher can never be erased.
  • Teachers are angels in disguise.
  • Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning.
  • You are the best because you bring out the best in us!
  • Only the brave teach!
  • Thanks a bunch!
  • You deserve a hug!
  • Parents love you!
  • You are appreciated.

The rest were simple “Thank You’s”, “You’re the Best”, etc. Have fun with it. Be silly.  Let the teachers laugh, smile and feel appreciated. Please feel free to share your inspirational or gratitude messages!

If you’re a teacher, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Every day you make our future stronger.
